How to reach the ‘Next’ level of your results
By now we all know that it takes a combination of nutrition and exercise to see great fat loss results. We also know that 80 percent of our results comes from our nutrition and 20 percent from exercise. However we must understand one component of exercise very clearly if we want our results to go through the roof.
Lets say you have been doing all the necessary practices of eating supportively 90% of the time and exercising 5-6 times per week utilizing fat loss workouts but you aren’t seeing the results you are looking for. If we focus on those two items; food and exercise, there are things that we can do to turn it up a notch so you can see the results you are looking for.
Lets first take a look at nutrition. 90% compliance is great (32 meals out of 35 in a week are supportive- 7 days 5 meals a day equaling 35 meals. Lets kick it up a notch and make only one meal a cheat or unsupportive, so you have 34 meals out of 35 supportive. That was an easy one, and you are feeding your body fat loss fuel to make you feel leaner and closer to the results you are looking for.
Ok, workouts may be a little more tricky but there is one thing I bet we can alter to make them even more effective. Take them to the next level. Going through the motions or, getting through a workout, won’t cut it if you want to see the results you are looking for. Each and every workout you have to be prepared to bring your absolute best effort and not give in until it is done. Each and every repetition must be executed, each and every exercise for each and every minute. Some of you may be saying, well I already do that.’ Well if you did then you would have the results to prove it, and if you do, this article isn’t going to help you much.
Take your workouts up to the next level. You don’t necessarily need to do different exercises if you are already practicing fat loss programming. Its your effort with the workout that needs adjusting. See, just doing the exercises isn’t going to get you the results you want, you have to really want it and exhibit the effort to get what you want. Kind of like every other aspect of our lives.
Next time you are training ask yourself if you can put a little more effort into what you are doing. Can you try harder, push out one more rep, use a little heavier weight, or take a little less rest between exercises. After your brief evaluation, its then time to really lose fat.

Ben,
Perfect timing for that post. In particular mentioning going through the motions. It is amazing how much better I feel after doing everything at 100%.
Sometimes I think for most of us it is mind over matter and if our “WHY” is big enough we will do what needs to be done.
Cheers!
Mike
