Three steps to a Ripped, Toned, Torso
There are three things that you are not doing and three things that must be in synergy in order for you achieve six pack washboard abs. Achieving takes the right tools but also takes a lot of discipline, motivation, and consistency in order to be successful. Quite honestly it’s the misinformation and the lack of these things that prevent so many from achieving their lean midsection. Well, as always I’m here to inform you how to achieve your leanest stomach ever. Just take these three actions.
- Your first and most important action is to work your hardest on your nutrition. Veggies, fruits and lean proteins are the name of the game here. Starches, not so much. Get your carbohydrate ‘needs’ from your fruits and veggies and your midsection will disappear. There is not one single more important, nor more effective action you can take than to hit it hard with your supportive foods. As the wise saying goes, you can’t outwork bad nutrition.
- Secondly, understanding your ab’s primary job is key to training them effectively. Their primary job is stabilization. So in order to see real results, you must train in stabilizing your abs at a high level of intensity. Exercises like plank variations, TRX equipment exercises and others provide the necessary movements that will assure you are gaining strength in your midsection and training them effectively for results.
- The third component tags along with number 2 in that you have to train your midsection effectively. That’s not just using the right exercises. That’s using the right exercises and overloading them. Overload such as heavier resistance, higher intensity (one leg plank instead of two legs for example), and performing in time intervals rather than super high reps (30 or more) without resting. Applying additional load really makes your torso work hard and makes your ab muscles pop.
Adding solid nutrition to these exercise parameters when training your torso will not only give you the lean midsection you always wanted, but will transform your entire body into a lean, toned, fit machine.
